That is why we created TANGRA Smart One – the new intelligent control platform for TANGRA energy recovery ventilation systems.
TANGRA Smart One continuously monitors temperature, carbon dioxide (CO₂) levels and system operation in real time, enabling automatic airflow adjustment according to indoor air quality. The controller features Wi-Fi connectivity and Modbus RTU (RS485), allowing integration with building management systems (BMS) as well as remote monitoring and control.
Ventilation That Adapts to People
In Automatic Mode, TANGRA Smart One uses data from the CO₂ sensor to automatically regulate the supply and extract fans across 5 operating levels.
More people in the room and higher CO₂ levels? The intelligent controller automatically increases the ventilation rate. When demand decreases, the airflow is reduced accordingly.
The result is simple: fresh air when you need it, without unnecessary energy consumption.

Your Ventilation System – on Your Smartphone
With built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, TANGRA Smart One can be connected to the mobile application.
Once configured, users can monitor and control the ventilation system remotely from their smartphone – whether they are at home, in the office or away from the building.

TANGRA Smart One controls much more than just the fans.
The controller manages the bypass damper for Free Cooling, a preheater for heat exchanger frost protection, as well as additional electric heating or a water coil for heating and cooling.
This allows a single compact system to handle a significant part of the automation required to maintain a comfortable and energy efficient indoor climate.
Designed for Professional Integration
TANGRA Smart One is more than a user interface. Through Modbus RTU (RS485), the controller can be integrated into centralised building management systems, with an individually configurable Modbus address from 1 to 254.
A dedicated input is also provided for connection to a Fire Alarm System (FAS) via a potential-free contact.
