Hitachi’s unique ‘Nano Titanium Pre-Filter’ features a nano titanium coating that neutralizes attached microbes and odors. Thanks to its smooth surface, even dust containing grease can be easily wiped off without the use of water. The heat exchanger purifier automatically cleans the heat exchanger, reducing the buildup of residual pollutants, mold, viruses, and bacteria. The ionizer emits negatively charged particles that attach to airborne pollutants around the air conditioner, causing them to harmlessly fall to the floor.

Hitachi airHome has an option to automatically adjust the set temperature up or down to reduce energy consumption. When you return to the room later, the presence of a person (or pet) is detected again, and the air conditioner resumes its original operation. This way, it saves energy and costs.
