On 06.02.2012, „TANGRA”, together with the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria – RC Sofia and the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design, brought together colleagues from both professions for a presentation on ‘Energy Efficiency – High-Efficiency Energy-Saving Ventilation.’ The event gathered more than 120 architects and engineers.
In his presentation, Eng. Yuliy Armyanov, manager of TANGRA, outlined the trends in increasing the efficiency of energy-saving ventilation systems. These trends have become increasingly relevant in recent years, driven by rising energy prices and the EU’s enforceable energy efficiency requirements.
The presentation also featured the new energy-recovery units produced by TANGRA, which have been on the market since January 2013. The units cover airflows from 250 to 3200 m³/h, and the high-efficiency hexagonal heat exchanger allows energy transfer of up to 85% between the two air streams.
The presentation also addressed the challenges that architects and engineers face when collaborating to deliver higher-quality and more energy-efficient projects.
