TANGRA won the tender and has already started the construction of the ventilation installations for Sofia’s first skyscraper – Capital Fort, with a height of 126 m and a total built-up area of 80,000 sq.m.
The complex will consist of two office buildings, featuring a financial center, conference halls, bank offices, restaurants and dining areas, a winter garden, shops, exhibition centers, a fitness center, a beauty salon, a children’s play area, a travel agency, a dry cleaner, and underground parking with 670 parking spaces.
Capital Fort is a joint project of ATKINS UK, whose most notable projects include Burj Al Arab, the World Trade Center in Bahrain, and the World Trade Center, and A&A Architects (Business Park Sofia). The project consultant is Lindner Immobilien Management.
TANGRA has experience in designing ventilation and air conditioning systems for multifunctional complexes and skyscrapers. Arco Towers is the largest project we have designed – 300,000 sq.m. of total built-up area. A TANGRA team also visited our colleagues in Dubai during the construction of Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world – 828 m) in 2008.
