In July 2013, “TANGRA” completed a project for “TAL Engineering” under the Operational Program ‘Human Resources Development.’ TAL Engineering Ltd. specializes in the production of aluminum and PVC joinery, aluminum structures, facade elements, suspended facades, sun protection systems, and more. The company is a market leader and offers products and services of the highest quality. TANGRA-AV Ltd. has a long-standing collaboration with TAL Engineering Ltd., which began with the design and construction of a heating installation in their first production workshop and has since developed to include the construction of an energy-efficient air-conditioning system with a water-cooled heat pump in their current administrative building and production hall.
In 2012, TAL Engineering turned again to TANGRA to assist in the implementation of the Human Resources Development program. The aim of the project was to ensure safety and reduce risk in the powder-polymer coating area (painting workshop), maintain permissible dust levels in the air, and minimize the risk of explosion.
A team from TANGRA prepared a technical project that also included measures to improve the energy efficiency of the systems. Based on the investor’s specifications and measured dust levels, a general ventilation system was designed and installed, providing air exchange for the room and an improved working microclimate. Central air-supply systems with energy recovery and efficiency of up to 57% – TANGRA AHU REC – were installed. The duct systems were designed to be as compact as possible and unobtrusive to production, while simultaneously positioned as close as possible to the dust source.
TANGRA successfully completed its work, and the team at TAl Engineering will be able to operate in a significantly improved working environment. Measures to enhance the workplace and increase energy efficiency are part of the social responsibility of every modern company. For this reason, TANGRA can be a valuable partner for all manufacturing enterprises in Bulgaria, offering better solutions both for investors and for all other stakeholders.
