Centrifugal fans
The Soler & Palau range of centrifugal fans covers various applications such as supply or exhaust of fresh air, as well as ventilation of domestic, commercial and industrial buildings, various production processes, etc. Fans in this category are characterized by the ability to carry large amounts of air extremely efficiently. They can have different classes of protection according to the purpose of the installation, including explosion-proof ATEX, smoke extraction, etc. Fans in this category can be low-pressure, high-pressure, single inlet or double inlet.
Description
S&P CBM represent range of double inlet direct driven low pressure centrifugal fans manufactured from galvanised sheet steel. The S&P CBM fan series features double inlet and a direct-drive motor. Motors are housing closed motors, with protection rating IP44, insulation class F, equipped with thermal protection and ball bearings greased for life. All the models are fitted with forward curved centrifugal impellers manufactured from galvanized sheet steel. A type A impeller with forward-curved blades is used, designed to operate with minimal losses and noise, and maximum efficiency. The fan is suitable for transporting clean air with dust content not exceeding 10 mg/m³. The fan housing is made of galvanized sheet metal. Maximum operating temperature: +60°C.
This type of fan is not suitable for transporting explosive or corrosive gases.
