At the end of 2012, the company „TANGRA” completed the construction of the HVAC installations at a winery located on the outskirts of the village of Gorno Botevo, Stara Zagora Municipality. The winery has its own vineyards and a technological production line for winemaking, thus establishing a closed production cycle that ensures the high quality of the products.
The technological process of wine production and aging requires continuous monitoring and maintenance of optimal temperatures, both in the fermenters and in the facilities for aging and bottling. To ensure temperature control in the fermenters, a four-pipe system was developed, providing individual regulation of each vessel, while the air parameters in the production areas are maintained by central air-handling units TANGRA AHU REC with precise control.
Since the fermentation process is associated with the release of harmful substances, the technological premises are equipped with high-efficiency energy recovery units of the type TANGRA EVB AL , utilizing up to 57% of the waste heat. The ventilation systems maintain the air parameters required to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for the staff.
The cooling/heating medium is supplied from an energy center with two water chillers – one for process ‘ice’ water and one for the air-conditioning systems. Due to the presence of a large quantity of groundwater in the area, the design team selected „water-to-water” units operating with a coefficient of performance COP>4, regardless of external conditions.
In the administrative section of the winery, „TANGRA” also installed a high-efficiency VRF system Hitachi за отопление и охлаждане с цел поддържането на оптимална температура на работната среда. In the design and construction of the HVAC installations, all requirements for the specific technology were taken into account, with the aim of creating a facility featuring an easy-to-operate system and minimal energy costs — one of the main advantages of the equipment offered by „TANGRA”.
