On March 26, 2015, at the Druzia restaurant in Sofia, TANGRA held a specialized event on the topic: “Energy Efficiency and Energy Audit in Ventilation, Heating, and Air Conditioning Systems.”
In collaboration with Facilities magazine, the TANGRA team brought together facility managers, technical directors of buildings, and representatives from facility management companies.
The event was attended by Eng. Svetoslav Glosov, Chairman of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (KSB), and Prof. Ivaylo Banov from TU Sofia.
Eng. Yuliy Armyanov presented ideas on thermal comfort, energy efficiency in buildings, and standards for mechanical ventilation.
The presentation also covered energy recovery standards, the payback period for energy-efficient ventilation systems, and techno-economic analyses.
The full building energy audit was explained by Eng. Simeonov from EnEffect, a long-time partner of TANGRA in this field. Ivan Armanov, Commercial Department Manager, presented financing options for energy efficiency measures through European programs, as well as completed examples of energy-efficient ventilation systems.
At the end of the event, over a glass of wine and some snacks, attendees had the opportunity to discuss issues and potential solutions with the TANGRA team.
