At the beginning of February 2020, we introduced to you the updated catalog of the high-efficiency energy recovery units TANGRA EVB HiE with the TANGRA REC HiE plate heat exchanger. In May, we would like to present the updated TANGRA EVB ROT range equipped with rotary regenerative heat exchangers.
The brochure presents 6 models of the TANGRA EVB ROT, with the models available in either monoblock or split configurations to facilitate transport and installation at the site. The construction comes in two versions — ST 25 (25mm) and ST 50 (50mm) — and is certified by Eurovent according to EN DIN 1886 standards.
The treated air flow rate ranges from 950 to 6500 m³/h. All models in the series feature an integrated rotary regenerative heat exchanger with an efficiency above 75% (according to EN 308). They comply with the requirements of the ErP Directive and Regulation 1253/2014. The rotary regenerative heat exchangers are certified by Eurovent, and the air filters integrated into the systems meet both EN 779 and the new ISO16890 standards. Thanks to the increased filter surface area, they offer higher efficiency and lower resistance. The installed fans are centrifugal, equipped with electronically commutated (EC) IE5-class motors and built-in Modbus communication.

The energy recovery units can be equipped with an additional thermal box for comfortable heating or cooling. The heating sections can be either water-based or electric, while the cooling sections, besides water-based options, can also use the refrigerant R-410A for operation with VRF systems. To ensure a tight seal of the system, TANGRA also offers movable louvered grilles with motor drives for each unit, compliant with EN1751.
