Soler & Palau Ventilation Group is one of the largest specialized manufacturers of fans for residential and industrial use. With over 65 years of experience, S&P has developed and implemented more than 10,000 fans and ventilation products. The company TANGRA presents the updated range of explosion-proof fans from Soler & Palau Ventilation Group ATEX. These types of fans are designed for air transfer in zones or environments where it is necessary to ensure protection against explosions or fires caused by flammable or highly explosive gases and dust. This means that the fans must be constructed in a way that eliminates the risk of electrical, electrostatic, thermal, or mechanical ignition.
The fans produced by Soler & Palau meet the highest energy efficiency standards for electric motors — IE2 and IE3 — and comply with the new ATEX directive 2014/34/EU, which replaced ATEX 94/9/EC. This gives designers confidence that they are using the most suitable products and provides installers with peace of mind that there will be no objections from fire safety authorities.
The wide range of Soler & Palau ATEX fans covers the entire spectrum of working environments, from Zone 0 to Zone 22 — from areas with constant risk to zones where there is only a potential for occasional ignition or explosion. Additionally, S&P’s fan range is designed to operate in environments containing propylene, ethylene, hydrogen, and other gases, as well as conductive and non-conductive dust, and flammable volatile particles. S&P fans cover temperature classes from T6 (85°C) to T1 (450°C).
