On June 4, 2012, following a meeting of the Management Board of BAFHVKI, TANGRA-AV Ltd. was accepted as a member of the Bulgarian Association of Companies for Hygiene in Ventilation and Air Conditioning Installations.
BAFHVKI was established in 2010. One of the main goals of the association is to raise awareness about the health consequences of poor hygiene in ventilation systems.
Poor air quality can cause many health problems such as:
- Toxic hazards – harmful materials and dust.
- Allergic hazards;
- Microbiological hazards – bacteria, viruses, molds
- Bacteria – causing infections;
- Viruses – causing flu, upper respiratory tract inflammations, infections;
- Molds – causing allergies, diseases;
- Protozoa; - Disturbances caused by odors, moisture, air drafts;
Sources of contamination can be of various types – poor cleaning, moisture and mold, dust from ceiling construction, etc.
