“TANGRA” participated in the construction of the newest high-tech factory of one of Bulgaria’s leading pharmaceutical companies – “Sopharma”. Its involvement in the project was completed in April this year, and the official opening of the facility took place in June. The complex is located on Ilientsko Shose Street and includes a solid dosage pharmaceutical factory with a total built-up area of 21,280 m² and a laboratory-administrative complex covering 5,000 m².
On the factory premises, “TANGRA” installed three autonomous Nederman systems for the collection, extraction, and filtration of explosive dust. TANGRA has been a representative of the Nederman brand in Bulgaria since 2004. The implemented installations and equipment are energy-efficient and meet the highest modern standards for environmentally friendly production and safe working conditions. The facilities feature different technical specifications. The largest system processes 5,670 m³/h at an average velocity of 15.50 m/s and is equipped with a Nederman NCF 80/25 DX fan. The second system handles 3,850 m³/h at an average velocity of 15 m/s with an NCF 40/25 X fan. The smallest system also uses the NCF 40/25 X fan, processing 2,100 m³/h at an average velocity of 16.30 m/s. All fans are equipped with PTC in the motors. All three systems are approved for use in explosive environments under ATEX 94/9/EC, which governs the use of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Due to the specific working conditions at “Sofarma” factories, the use of local extraction systems is essential for the normal workflow. These systems are designed to capture dust particles and remove them from the working environment. Beyond the pharmaceutical industry, Nederman products are also applied in mechanical engineering, metalworking, automotive repair, the food industry, and other sectors.
