Air purifiers reduce the spread of viruses, allergens, and other pollutants in indoor spaces.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control informs that viral diseases, including COVID-19, are spread through airborne pathogens. According to the recommendations published on the centre’s website, by increasing the amount of clean and fresh filtered air, HVAC systems can dilute and eliminate pathogens in the airflows and help mitigate the spread of the disease.

Johns Hopkins University conducted a study and demonstrated that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (Covid-19) can be destroyed through proper UV-C irradiation. Bacterial spores, viruses, and fungi exposed to UV-C light are killed, allowing the air to be purified up to 99.99%.

UV-C irradiation :
Irradiation with wavelengths below 200 nm transforms oxygen in the air into ozone, which can be beneficial at certain levels but becomes toxic if the concentration is too high. The UV-C emitters used have wavelengths above 200 nm, ensuring that no ozone is produced.
Direct UV-C radiation damages the skin. The TANGRA AirSterilizer 07 air sterilization devices are designed so that during operation, the radiation remains contained within the unit and only irradiates the air, ensuring that occupants are not directly exposed to the radiation and their health is protected. During maintenance and filter replacement, the UV-C emitters cannot be turned on.
